Art at Will presents Chuck Connelly: From the Ashes...

Art at Will's 10th episode follows Art at Will host Flynn Helper and painter Chuck Connelly as Chuck restores a painting from actor Nick Nolte's personal collection.  The work was damaged in a fire at Nick's home in Malibu, during the restoration Flynn reconnects with Chuck as well as the roots of his desire to be an artist.  Special guests include Nick Nolte and Kevin Dillon.

Art at Will host Flynn Helper visits academy award winning digital artist Kevin Mack and surreal painter Snow Mack at their home to discuss their work and views on art.

Art at Will's first group show at The Air Conditioned Supper Club
Join Flynn helper for Art at Will's first group show hosted by the Air Conditioned Supper Club in Venice.  Featured artists include Alexander D.C.D. Smith, Hilary Norod, and Art at Will's own Flynn Helper, in addition to a live performance by American Royalty.




Art at Will presents A+D Museum and the Gas'd Station
Art at Will host Flynn helper heads to museum row and checks out a group show at the Architecture and Design Museum.  The following night, Art at Will hits the downtown Art Walk and heads down to the Gas'd Station to catch up with singer Nikko Gray and Imani Waddy, founder of Gas'd.




Art at Will presents Keenan Chapman and Hilary Norod + The Dim Sum Truck

Art at Will's Flynn Helper stops by tattoo artist Keenan Chapman's house to check out some of Keenan's most recent paintings and get a tattoo!  Next, Flynn and a friend visit the Dim Sum Truck in Venice to have lunch.  Finally Flynn and the crew turn their attention to Echo park where they visit with artist Hilary Norod.  In the interview Norod discusses her abstract art, and provides some insight on breaking into the LA art scene.

Flynn visits local artist Greg Brisson at his solo gallery show in downtown Los Angeles to discuss his work as well as his career.

The conclusion to "Art at Will present The Beginning" features Art at Will host and glass artist Flynn Helper displaying and giving away his artwork on June 10, 2010 at the downtown Los Angeles artwalk.  Flynn blew dozens of crackled glass stars and filled them with glowstick liquid so they would light up the streets of Los Angeles for one night, after displaying them on the sidewalk he let people take them at no cost. 

A profile piece focused on Art at Will host and glass artist Flynn Helper.  The video documents the creation of a body of glass work intended to be displayed at the downtown Los Angeles artwalk on June 10, 2010.  "The Stars" as the project is sometimes known was also the inspiration for the creation of Art at Will and the first video that Isaac Mackie and Flynn Helper collaborated on. 

The second episode of the Art at WIll video blog features Alexander D.C.D. Smith's solo gallery show, as well as The Upper Six Hundreds art collective "Post Penumbra Art Show" in Downtown LA. 

The premiere episode of the Art at Will video blog focuses on the monthly artwalk in Venice, CA known as "First Fridays" on Abbot Kinney.
